This notice explains what information Stacklix collects, how we use it, and the rights you have in relation to it.

Effective June 14, 2026

Introduction

Thank you for choosing to be part of the Stacklix community ("Stacklix," "we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. If you have questions or concerns about this notice or our practices, please contact us at support@stacklix.com.

This privacy notice describes how we might use your information if you:

  • Visit our website at stacklix.com
  • Use FeatureBoard, Testimonial, Review, or any other Stacklix application
  • Engage with us in other related ways — including any sales, marketing, or events

The purpose of this notice is to explain in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. If there are terms you do not agree with, please discontinue use of our Services immediately.

What information do we collect?

In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you register, express interest in our products and Services, participate in activities on the platform, or otherwise contact us. The information we collect may include:

  • Personal information provided by you: Names, email addresses, mailing addresses, phone numbers, workspace names, passwords, contact preferences, and similar information.
  • Payment data: When you make a purchase, we may collect data needed to process your payment, such as your payment instrument number and security code. All payment data is stored by our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Social / account login data: If you register using a third-party account (such as Google), we receive certain profile information from that provider, handled through our authentication partner, Clerk.

All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes.

Information automatically collected

In Short: Some information — such as your IP address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our platform.

This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information. It is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our platform and for internal analytics. The information we collect includes:

  • Log and usage data: Service-related, diagnostic, and performance information our servers collect, such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, searches, and error reports.
  • Device data: Information about the computer, phone, tablet, or other device you use to access the platform, including device identifiers and operating system.
  • Location data: Imprecise location derived from your IP address. You can opt out by disabling location settings on your device, though some features may not work as a result.

How do we use your information?

In Short: We process your information to provide our Services, comply with the law, and where we have your consent or a legitimate business interest.

We use the information we collect or receive to:

  • Facilitate account creation and login: Including third-party sign-in through connected accounts.
  • Deliver our Services: To provide the FeatureBoard, Testimonial, and Review features you request.
  • Manage user accounts: To keep your account in working order and manage subscriptions and entitlements.
  • Send administrative information: Such as changes to our terms, conditions, and policies, and transactional emails.
  • Protect our Services: For fraud monitoring, prevention, and keeping the platform safe and secure.
  • Respond to inquiries and offer support: To resolve any issues you have with our Services.
  • Request feedback: To contact you about your use of our platform.
  • Send marketing communications: In accordance with your preferences. You can opt out at any time.

Will your information be shared with anyone?

In Short: We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with Services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.

We may process or share your data based on the following legal bases:

  • Consent: When you have given us specific consent to use your personal information for a particular purpose.
  • Legitimate interests: When reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests.
  • Performance of a contract: To fulfill the terms of a contract we have entered into with you.
  • Legal obligations: Where we are legally required to disclose information to comply with applicable law or legal process.
  • Vital interests: Where necessary to investigate or prevent potential violations, fraud, or threats to safety.

We may also share your personal information in these situations:

  • Business transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of assets, financing, or acquisition of all or part of our business.
  • Service providers: With vendors who perform services for us, such as hosting, email delivery, authentication (Clerk), and payments (Stripe).

Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

In Short: We may use cookies and similar technologies to access or store information.

We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to help operate and secure the platform and to understand how it is used. Most browsers let you remove or reject cookies; doing so may affect certain features of our Services.

How do we handle your social logins?

In Short: If you register or log in using a social media account, we may have access to certain information about you.

Where you choose to log in with a third-party account, we receive certain profile information from that provider, which may include your name and email address. We use this information only for the purposes described in this notice. We do not control, and are not responsible for, other uses of your personal information by your third-party provider.

Is your information transferred internationally?

In Short: We may transfer, store, and process your information in countries other than your own.

If you access our platform from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed by us and our service providers in other countries. We take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this notice and applicable law.

How long do we keep your information?

In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this notice unless otherwise required by law.

We keep your personal information for as long as you have an account with us and for a reasonable period afterward. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your information, we will delete or anonymize it, or securely store and isolate it until deletion is possible.

Do we collect information from minors?

In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

By using the platform, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to their use of the platform. If we learn that personal information from users under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to delete such data. If you become aware of any such data, please contact us at support@stacklix.com.

What are your privacy rights?

In Short: You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, and in some regions you have additional rights under data protection law.

Depending on your region (such as the EEA and UK), you may have rights that include:

  • The right to request access and obtain a copy of your personal information
  • The right to request rectification or erasure
  • The right to restrict the processing of your personal information
  • The right to data portability, where applicable
  • The right to withdraw consent at any time

Controls for do-not-track features

Most browsers and some mobile systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature you can activate. No uniform technology standard for recognizing DNT signals has been finalized, so we do not currently respond to them. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will inform you in a revised version of this notice.

Do we make updates to this notice?

In Short: Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws.

The updated version will be indicated by a revised effective date and will be effective as soon as it is accessible. If we make material changes, we may notify you by posting a notice or sending you a direct notification.
